The ski-in Alpenlodge Superior is located on a sunny slope on the edge of Zermatt, offering panoramic views of the Matterhorn and free access to the wellness area.
The modern Zen spa has a sauna and a steam bath. Guests can enjoy stunning views from the relaxation room over the surrounding mountains.
All rooms in the Alpenlodge Superior are furnished in elegant, contemporary Alpine style and offer free Wi-Fi. Cable flat-screen TVs and DVD players are featured in every room. Bathrobes and a hairdryer are also provided.
Every day free coffee, tea and cakes are served. The cosy lounge bar with its open fireplace is an inviting place to relax after a day out in the mountains. Guests can also enjoy the common terrace offering panoramic views of the village and the impressive Matterhorn.
The Sunneggabahn cable car and the buses to the Matterhorn cable cars are only a 5-minute walk away from the Alpenlodge Superior. Ski passes can be bought at the guest house. The train station and the Gornergrat cog cable car can be reached on foot within 10 minutes.
Transfers to the cable cars are available at an additional cost. Transfers to and from the train stations are available free of charge if guests are staying 2 nights or longer.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
Please call the hotel as soon as you are in the traintaxi from Täsch to Zermatt, so that the hotel can organise the transfer to the hotel.
Please note that the spa area is open from 16:00 until 21:00.
Style Double Room with Matterhorn View. Large, south-facing room with a seating area and panoramic views of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Please note that the room rate is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests (see extra bed rates). ;
Double Room. This room is north-facing and has no Matterhorn views. Please note that extra beds are not possible in this room. ;
Duplex Junior Suite with Matterhorn View. Spacious 2-floor suite with a terrace offering views of the Matterhorn mountain. Please note that the room rate is based on 2 guests. Maximum occupancy is 3 guests (see Hotel Policies). Guests are kindly requested to inform the guest house about the number of people (in case of children, the childrens age) upon reservation. Boutique Double Room with Matterhorn View. Featuring free toiletries and bathrobes, this double room includes a private bathroom with a bath, a shower and a hairdryer. Boasting a terrace with mountain views, this double room also features soundproof walls and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The unit has 1 bed. ;
Family Room with Matterhorn View. This room offers a balcony and Matterhorn views. Guests are kindly requested to inform the guest house about the number of people (in case of children, the childrens age) upon reservation. This can be noted in the Comments Box during booking or by contacting the property using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that the room rate is based on 2 adults and 2 children up to 16 years of age. The third and the fourth guest above 16 years of age can stay at an additional cost in these rooms (see extra bed rates). ;
Quadruple Room with Matterhorn View. The spacious quadruple room offers soundproof walls, a seating area, a terrace with mountain views as well as a private bathroom boasting a walk-in shower. The unit has 2 beds.
